What is WOSB Tools?
WOSB Tools started as a way to organize my own messy notes about trade routes in World of Sea Battle.
Now it’s growing into a shared database where players can:
Look up ship stats and compare builds
Check resource prices and trade routes
See an interactive port map with accurate locations
Contribute real-time data from in-game
Who’s Behind WoSBTools?
Hi, I’m Lou! Co-Founder of GFG Development – I’m also a long-time gamer, nerd, and someone who loves turning chaos into organized data.
I built WOSB Tools because I wanted a clean, reliable place to track ship stats, prices, and ports for World of Sea Battle. Instead of hoarding that data in spreadsheets, I decided to turn it into a public project the community can benefit from and help improve.
How the Tools Work
Under the hood, WoSBTools uses a custom database of ships, resources, ports, and user-submitted prices.
In practice, that means:
Players submit prices or screenshots from in-game
The system parses and stores that data
A trust system weights submissions from reliable users
Pages like the Resource Market, Trade Routes, and Ships pull from that data so you always see the latest verified info
Built on Community Data (with Safeguards)
Anyone can help keep WoSBTools accurate by submitting prices or uploading screenshots. To keep the data useful, there’s a trust system behind the scenes.
New users start with neutral trust
Accurate, verified submissions raise trust
Bad or obviously false data lowers trust
High-trust users carry more weight in the market data
The goal isn’t perfection, but a constantly improving community dataset that reflects what players are actually seeing in-game.
